S-Code Index

Every S-code we have ever issued, matched against the server, with the artwork it resolved to and how confident the match actually is. This is the index from my working board, ported as it stands.

Where we are now

The register is one spreadsheet. It gives a code a description and nothing else — no link to the artwork, no status, no owner.

Finding the file meant knowing where to look. That knowledge was one person's, and he retired.

What this does

It matches every code against the server, renders the artwork it found, and says how it decided — printed on the art, on the filename, on the folder, or merely matched by description.

Sort by Needs checking to put the doubtful ones first. That is the review queue.

Where it goes

This is an index, not the fix. The fix is tracking — one identity per job so the code, the die line, the prototype and the artwork travel together.

Nothing here asks anyone to fill in a form. It reads what we already produce.

The Index

On this copy — read before sharing. This is the S-code lane from my working board, ported as-is and sanitised: the artwork previews are here, but server paths, SMB links and filenames are not. People appear as initials. The live version on my machine opens the file on the server and shows the full candidate list with paths.

Built from the sign-code register against a read-only crawl of 986,468 files. Nothing on the Design share — 602,430 files, twenty years of customer artwork — was moved, renamed or written.
